Officials Registration to be completed ASAP!

October 14, 2026

Dear WGB Families,

Now that your swimmer is registered with Whitehorse Glacier Bears for the upcoming season, the next step is to register your family’s designated swim official(s).

As you know, competitive swim meets rely heavily on parent volunteers and officials. Without enough registered officials, we simply cannot run our swim meets.

Who can be a designated official?

Your designated official does not necessarily have to be a parent. It can be a grandparent, relative, family friend, or anyone else who is willing to volunteer as an official at our swim meets. You must register at least one official - but feel free to register multiple officials. The more the better.

What information do we need?

Please complete this form ASAP with the following information for each person you wish to register as an official:

  1. Official’s full name:
  2. Date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY):
  3. Email address:
  4. Swimmer’s name:

Follow this link to complete the Form: Google Form

What happens next?

Once we receive this information, our Club Officials Administrator will enter the official’s details into the Swimming Canada Registration, Event and Membership System (REMS).

Each designated official will then receive an email from Swimming Canada with instructions to complete their registration. Check your junk folder for this email!

Please note that officials registration is mandatory. All families are required to designate an official to support our swim meets.

Registering as an official is the first step toward helping ensure that our swimmers have the opportunity to compete in well-organized, successful swim meets throughout the season.

Thank you for supporting Whitehorse Glacier Bears and helping make our swim meets possible!
