Winter Provincials is a On-Your-Own event for athletes who have obtained at least 1 Provincial qualifying standard (described below).
There will be a Meet Fee required for registration, which will contribute towards coach costs as well as entry fees. Meet fees are to be determined before registration deadline.
- Qualifying Period: September 1, 2024, to February 23, 2026 (entry deadline).
- Qualification Requirement: During the qualifying period, athletes must achieve at least one (1) Swim BC Provincial
Championship Time Standard in their respective age group at an appropriately sanctioned competition. - Swimmer Age: Age is determined as of the first day of competition (March 5, 2026).
- Non-Qualified Events: Swimmers who have achieved 1 or 2 Qualifying Times are eligible to swim 1 Non-Qualified (NQ)event, provided that the NQ event is 200m or shorter in distance.
- All NQ Events must meet the ICVD/VFD Divisional time standard.
An Air North Sports Fare application will be submitted after the registration deadline. Meet Package and additional information will be attached to the event file once published.
