Maverick Madness 2026

OUT-OF-TERRITORY EVENT!!

The Maverick Madness Swim Meet will take place in Calgary, AB from January 30 – February 1, 2026. This exciting three-day competition is a fantastic racing opportunity to kick off the new year and gain valuable out-of-territory experience.

Age Categories:

• 10 & Under
• 11–12
• 13–14
• 15 & Over

For our pre-competitive younger athletes, this meet is an excellent alternative for those who have aged out of Dino Cup (10 & Under) and are looking for their next opportunity to compete.

Important Information

1. A minimum of 10 athletes must declare their intent to attend for WGB to commit to this meet.
2. As this is an out-of-territory event, a meet fee will apply to help offset coaching travel costs (these costs are not covered by regular registration fees).
3. The Fundraising Committee will be exploring opportunities to help offset these costs either before or after the event.

At this time, the estimated meet fee is expected to fall between $200–$500 per athlete (final number to be confirmed after the registration deadline). The final cost will depend on participation numbers; the more athletes who attend, the lower the individual cost will be as expenses are shared.
